Preparation

Before using the film cleaner you need to prepare the cleaning rollers.
After folding along the 'split', carefully start to peel back the top sheet of the adhesive pad.
Remove the cover paper to expose most of the top sheet.
Clean the Film Cleaner by rolling each of the rollers on the exposed adhesive sheet to ensure the rollers are thoroughly clean before use.
Re-cover the adhesive (to prevent accidents).

Hold the film carefully and insert between cleaning rollers.
By gently pressing the rollers together - capture the film between them.
Pull the film slowly through the cleaning rollers as shown - by pulling slowly you will generate a lower overall static charge on the film.
This action removes all dry contamination from the film.
The film should come close to - but not touch the anti-static brush. The anti-static brush 'wicks away' any residual static charge.
Place the film cleaner down. DO NOT put it on the adhesive pad. It is best if it is placed back in the tray.
The film is now cleaned and ready for use.

Caring for your Film Cleaner

Never leave the cleaning rollers on the exposed adhesive pad.
Never leave the cleaning rollers on any glossy surface.
To maintain their performance the cleaning rollers require to be wiped at regular intervals only with Isopropyl Alcohol Wipes.
Use only GENUINE BOOFEY adhesive pads to purge your BOOFLET Film Cleaner.
